You can disagree, but it doesn't change how I feel. I am not interested in what Bluesky or Threads are doing. I have to focus on this community and provide the best experience for them. There is a substantial active community here that is steadily growing, and that is more important to me.

My favorite thing about #News feeds--other than getting news--is that you "BLAST" posts instead of liking them. Later, they can be liked as they land in timelines, but at first glance, you're just deciding whether to #blast the post without first noticing (or caring) how "popular" the story is.👏🏾

The News tab is brilliant: it's basically a RSS feed where publishers don't have to respond or manage the handle/feed to be on this app. Kudos, @cbouzy . If journalists can't figure out that Twitter is not where they should be sending traffic to their sites will be the wake up call their bosses need.

First impressions matter; if we had media attention in February, we would've lost users who wouldn't have returned. This is what happened to Threads. They were not ready for prime time, and many of their users were unhappy and moved on. Have patience; slow and steady will win the race.
