Hello everyone, affirmative action was never about admitting unqualified Black Students to universities. It was always about ensuring qualified Black Students were accepted despite systemic racism. The “unqualified admission” you’re thinking of are legacy students—like how Kavanaugh got into Yale.

The #btv City Council has tabled continued consideration of UVM’s request to build new housing on campus absent any indication that the university is willing to discuss enrollment trends. This bill may apply necessary guardrails.

One thing I talked about on the podcast last week was how no one wants to be the first to indict a former President, but now that Fani Willis is probably less than a month away, we're seeing that no on wants to be the SECOND to indict a former President either, whether that's Jack Smith or Bragg.
