Even the breach in a way is good news as the fact that your company practices good seperation of key data. Unlike other platforms who keep passwords and financial information in a unencrypted file. Please keep us informed on this, but to be honest, email and phones are pretty much open slather.

As the fine body of work Tony Abbott left from his political era, saying No to everything can work very well when you are seeking power, if less effective once you have power

When early Christians celebrated Christmas during the Roman Pagan midwinter celebration. To be offended with other people using the same time is hypothetical.

I wonder how Russian Orthodox and Copts feel about Christmas cards as most other Orthodox and Western Christian denominations use the ungodly Gregorian rather than sacred Julian date for Christmas day?

It is not such an issue here in Sydney, especially in more multicultural diverse locations like where I live in the wrong side of Red Rooster line. Because Hindu, Sikhs, atheists and cricket fans also get paid holidays (generally) around the Christmas/Boxing Day and NY. And Boxing/ NY are secular

As an Aussie, state and much of the relious based schools curriculum are managed by souless beurocrats at the Department of Education. Parent & Citizen groups raise money for school facilities & equipment. Imagine aschool getting $600,000 donation for upgrades and new buildings rather than election

The problem with the UN is that to resolve a conflict all sides need to agree as well as the five permanent security council members.

The current situation in Gaza can't be resolved by the UN as the US has a vested interest that it supports for domestic political reasons.

We had one of those in Australia, and he went out if his way to trash the unwritten conventions of our government system like appointing himself secretly to five ministerial portfolios while Prime Minister. One result is departmental decisions made during this time may be invaliid. Good times

It is far easier for a US president to pay for explosives to blow up an overseas hospital and a lot less political capital spent than to attempt to provide debt relief to student debt. Also he can avoid having the explosive purchase fought bitterly in the courts by states and vested interests

The strategic justification is harder. Having a long term Sub camping the Malaki straight or Sea of Japan is more a SSN than Collins class. But you don't buy 1 sub, you buy sets of three: one deployed, one being ready to deploy and one deep refit. 3 to 5 means 1 and at most 2 during high tensions

I think the whole French Submarine thing was a debacle but not for the normal reasons. Converting the Barracuda SSN to Diesel was non trivial. When they decided to buy SSN, the Barracuda off the shelf may be the easiest option, depending on the nuclear plant design chosen.
