I've had issues with every president since I was old enough to vote, but I've never voted Republican and I see absolutely no reason to change that.

I'm SoCal too. Culver City. We have a pretty cool car show tomorrow. They close off downtown and have bands, food and lots of cool old cars. My friend may bring his old Saab "turtle" that he's restoring. Still has a Dukakis/Bentsen bumper sticker he's trying to figure out how to save.

BlueSky? Nah. I tried a few times to engage in low-key respectful conversation about Gaza and it was just too disappointing how nasty the replies got. The harder I tried to keep it respectful the more people tried to bait me, but I didn't take the bait or get angry, which made the attacks worse.

I checked out BlueSky after leaving Post. The place is like a bridge for trolls to hang out under. Really a nasty place. Of course there are good people too, but they tend to get drowned out.

Yes, I understand, but I don't think a lot of people bother to differentiate. They see someone with severe Tourettes yelling and cursing for no apparent reason and assume they are talking to people who aren't there.

I have a very difficult time speaking or performing before a crowd. That's why I stopped playing live gigs and became a studio musician. Got tired of throwing up before work every night.

With all due respect, Joe Biden is not from Canada, and besides, I lived in Canada for several years and I'd say that if he did have some Canadian sentiment, then I like him even more.

He's going to try to do all that anyway if he's elected, whether he get's their money or not and I'm not sure that they pay much in taxes to start with. The environmental laws are my biggest worry. He could wreak havoc with those, not that we're doing close to enough yet.

I'm partial to cars with fins, so 1959 was a special year for me. There was the Chevrolet Impala, the Plymouth Fury and the Cadillac Eldorado. I would have liked to have seen the concept cars they were based on.

I think the coolest concept cars were from the 1950s and 60s. Back then they were very experimental and somewhat improbable looking. Many of them looked like something out of the Jetsons. Now they seem more like previews of upcoming models.

This is less dangerous than it appears. Lara is starving GOP candidates of money and giving it to Trump's lawyers, putting GOP House and Senate hopefuls in a cash crunch. Also, all these Trump family delegates are in Florida, which means they are only in a position to keep a red state red.

I don't know, if you listen to Kennedy speak it's clear that he has issues. Maybe not worm issues, but issues none-the-less. At least the worm gives him an excuse.

I am a huge fan of Pelosi, but Jeffries is a step above. His eloquence and calm strength are exactly what we need. I hope I live long enough to see him elected to be our president someday. I have no doubt that he will prove to be one of the most consequential American leaders in my lifetime.
