Things I have learned from agent and editor-suggested revisions:
1. Stakes need to be crystal clear (why is this bad, what will happen if it happens)
2. Exposition isn't bad per se but it needs to be broken up with action.
3. Tension, tension, tension.

So, it did not go as well as I thought, but it also did not go as bad as I thought. But my trusty (don't know where I got it) ink pen almost died getting me a heart attack. Like every art person I am loyal to trusty pens (2nd is blue one in pic) can't function without them.
