If you could give one single piece of life advice, what would it be?

I’ll go first: try something with hot sauce.

Say YES more often. Not necessarily to boring commitments, but when your heart beat increases at the thought, or for a second you feel a tingle of excitement say YES. Then rearrange the other stuff in your life to make it happen,

Don’t believe anyone who tells you that you can’t do something. Do it and prove them wrong.

Don’t use fabric softener, it coats the fibers of clothing and towels and makes them less absorbent and more likely to trap bacteria and smell. A quarter-cup of vinegar in the wash and wool dryer balls keep your towels absorbent and your clothes breathing and smelling great.

Don't commit instantly. Say "I need to check my schedule. " if you don't want to do the thing, respond with "I will not be going, I have a commitment." If pressed, repeat! Not their business! The commitment is to your health and sanity!!!💗

As my mama taught me, there are very few things in life that can’t be fixed or improved by a hot meal, a hot bath, a good night’s sleep, brushing your teeth, or a good screw. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Decide what you want...and then make a plan to make it happen.
(If you have no goals or plans for yourself, OTHERS will decide for you what your life will be.)

Treat your children as you'd like them to treat you, because they will. Yell at them? They'll yell at you. Punish them? Command instead of request? Tune them out? Dismiss their opinions and needs? All the same thing.

Keep them safe, surround them with people who are a good example, respect them.
