Trying to turn my Substack of authentic, traditional French recipes accompanied by the short history/legend behind each dish or dessert into a published book is

1 - crazy? (Not interesting)

or

2 - brilliant? (Would have a big public)

That sounds like an amazing idea for a book! I hope you write it!

Maybe, do a poll!? More people might participate.

I like learning about the history of culinary dishes...

I think it's a brilliant idea! I prefer recipes in a book format as opposed to online, and the background would be a bonus!

It should be a lovely idea. However the Internet's domination of recipes now makes it a niche market unless you're already a superstar name. Even my chef brother doesn't bother with cookbooks anymore. He searches online recipes & bookmarks them.

Exactly. It's the kind of cookbook I would just sit and read. Which I do.

*eyes the 6 bookcases of cookbooks in my house, that do not contain the collection*

Substack has nazi accounts they refuse to clean up. Someone needs to compete them away.
