Sophie is a rescue dog and is 100% deaf. No matter how much attention I lavish on her, Sophie will go to Mr Phred. The theory is that she was the lap dog of a man who died and she was turned out onto the streets. Sophie is my treasured pet friend for a few months each winter.

I think a lot of people have PTSD from years of experiencing abuse and harassment on other social media platforms. They are guarded and hesitant to interact here until they realize Spoutible is different. Even when people disagree, the replies are usually respectful. No "go hang yourself" here.
