If they were TRULY indistinguishable from humans, though, how would you know?

(I think the Muskellunge sets a much lower bar for such things, judging from the difference between the hype for his self-driving car software and the accident-prone reality.)
Ike K @NotPOTUS34
Despite Elon’s recommendation I’m not going to have sex with any indistinguishable-from-human robot.

Tonight we're going back to the early days of 2001 from my first visit to Universal Studios in Orlando. By this time I had been traveling for about 2 years. This was my first visit of many to the weird place they call Florida.

This is, however, the thought process not only of many fascists, but also "Leftists" who support Trump. They know he'll make things worse. That's the point. They just don't care about the cost

Actually it's even stupider- it an apocalypse prophecy with all the wishful thinking, nihilism, sadism, excuses for doing nothing to make the world better, and desire to see it burn so your people can be the last ones standing, but without the fantasy of an all-powerful God to make sure it happens.

People side with Donald Trump being president, again, but students protesting on campuses is a blight on the country. Got it.

Farro is so good. Last week I had it served as a base for salmon and really really really need to make it at home.
AssiduousRabbit @AssiduousRabbit
What are this Rabbit's fiber tips? I seldom peel carrots, potatoes, celery, tomatoes, etc. (in short, anything I can get away with not peeling) and I live on farro, quinoa, and oatmeal. I do have my eye on amaranth and sorghum. Gotta keep that palate fresh! #spoutiblecooks #spoutiblehealth

Yesterday morning in the weight room I encountered a
forty± year old 6’6” mountain of muscle with a “down’s mess with me” look about him. Scary! To use an old saying, though, don’t judge a book by its cover. We had a nice, if brief conversation.

Every year on April 28, Workers Memorial Day is observed worldwide because more people are killed at work than in wars. In 2022, a U.S. worker died every 96 minutes from a work-related injury. Stand with unions for workplace safety.

Same. I feel guilty buying a book these days if I can wait a bit and borrow from the library.
Deb @Debbatch
I used to buy close to a hundred books a year. We cut way back on buying all kinds of things a few years ago to reduce our impact on the environment. I miss new books and check out almost everything I read from the library now. Also tired of dusting all the books on our shelves.
