I feel that way about Bill Nighy too - he's always interesting. Put both of them in a movie together and I'll show up for that!

It takes a Christmas village! Not sure if it's this way now, but back in the day at NYCB young male dancers who'd outgrown the children's roles but weren't ready yet for the featured solos would be stashed underneath Clara's bed, to make it glide "magically" through the snow forest.

"Begone, you have no power here!" We have a bunch of state laws in WA (thank you Jay Inslee) that protect abortion rights & gender-affirming care, incl one that specifically shields patients & providers from prosecution by out-of-state authorities & prevents cooperation w/ their "investigations."

What are the odds though that there's a tracker on her car, or that she's now being watched to be sure she doesn't try to leave the state. Someone needs to run a little black op and get her out of there. it's like a dystopian horror film.

Just TC's people keeping him in the press. Now Austin Butler I could see, if they want to go with someone that young, but they're not going to cast an American - Bond's Britishness is too integral to the lore of the franchise, he's never not been played by a Brit, UK, or Commonwealth actor.

I've got asthma too so that's a bonus category for me! Had COVID for the first time in Sept (after 3 yrs of being super careful, this latest strain is really contagious) so my immune system is at full flex right now - can't have the new booster till next month when it's settled back to DEFCON 5!

Sounds like it. Is it b&w symbols only or (I hope) are they color-coded or number-coded as well to help you out with what goes where? If not I bet there's someone on here who could translate the colors for you if you shared a photo of the key..

Catsup is the secret ingredient, my mom always put some in there. I once made her meat loaf for an English family who'd never had one - it was received like it was beef Wellington, & particular curiosity about a flavor none of them could identify. They were mildly horrified to learn what it was!

Beads are fun embellishments once you get the hang of it - there are a few good YouTube vids on how to pull them over so they lay flat against the fabric. They should appear as dots on the pattern, but it looks like you may have to decipher which color goes where, or just be creative and decide!

Wow, is that cross-stitch? I too have some wonderful patterns from a seller in Kharkiv (she's in Lviv now, for greater safety) but they're more folk art based, nothing so ambitious as this! My lifetime project is a huge Arts & Crafts barn owl - or, at the moment, half an owl. 🙂
