If there’s grass nearby, then you know that’s where you’ll find me. This is from the quaint little German village of Frankenmuth, Michigan earlier this summer. #Bessie

More evidence of my naïveté: I honestly thought political media would care far more about women and girls dying due to lack of access to abortion care than they would over a U.S. Senator wearing a hoodie to work. Serves me right.

Getting less US centric news (if you can do it without hitting the link laws that countries like Australia and Canada have implemented) would be great. Unfortunately US politics does affect all of us, but most of the US media is very insular. BBC, ABC Aus, Guardian would be nice additions

thread 3 Threaded Spouts
Not only did we solve the news problem, but we did it better than everyone else, and we aren't finished yet. Some of you want us to have more media attention, but I would argue it is good we have flown under the wire for this long. We have had months to fix the issues with Spoutible and improve it.

I'm so impressed with this. Most journalists & news orgs have completely ignored Spoutible...so Christopher just cut out the middle-people. Brilliant.

Now, while sites like FB delete the news & X can't be trusted, Spoutible is suddenly the premier social media news source.

Ignorant ass realized that I loathed all of my options. I wrote in “Richard Nixon” left and promptly changed my registration thereafter. It was like an episode of “scared straight “.

I just think it should not be understated how amazing of an accomplishment Spoutible is. We have so many new features in a matter of months. This has taken other sites years to accomplish. And they are REALLY listening. Go cbouzy and your amazing team behind the scenes! Simply awesome!!

Every single time I hear someone bitch about government I ask, "Do you vote."
I am still amazed at the large number who say "NO" and justify their inaction as a form of civic pride.

Just vote people. Just vote.

OK, this is my first spout today in my regular voice as International Talk Like a Pirate Day concludes.

I have to admit. I don't ever remember being this silly for a prolonged period of time. In situations where goofiness takes place, I tend to be mild with expression. So yeah, this was fun. 🙂

What danger that seemed very likely to happen when you were a child have you managed to avoid so far in life?

I'll start: I have never been flattened by a falling anvil.
