Short story: my dad died one year ago today, and to honor him, I donated blood. Afterward, I sat across from a young woman who had a copy of Pride and Prejudice, my dad's favorite book. I told this woman that I was there to honor my dad, and seeing her book felt like a little hello from him.

We just wrapped up a holiday trip to my sister's house with the extended family group, and now we are planning another extended family trip for this summer. And it is EXHAUSTING. For like five minutes I want to not be in planning mode.

This morning’s adventure was setting up outside holiday decorations including an inflatable polar bear we’ve had a few years. Upon inflating it, we discovered it had a tear in a seam. We like to fix things when we can so I decided to stitch it.

My 13yo son and I are building a small storage cabinet together, and I'm just enjoying it so much. This is the first project we've done together. My daughter and I have more similar interests, so I've done countless projects with her. Thankful to be connecting with my son in this way!

I would like to remind people that accounts spouting in different languages is a wonderful thing for the platform.
If you don't know what's being said, Google Translate is your friend.
It is extremely disheartening to see large accounts scream "BOT" every time non-English spouts show up.
