More proof that they stand for chaos over everything. How does this help their constituents?

Stop electing people who don't believe in government to govern.

I lived in LA a while. We can root for each other when we’re not facing each other! 😉 So happy to see our SoCal teams with such good showing and big crowds.

Agreed. The more mainstream coverage, the better. Huge crowd for Gotham! Love to see it. And a big Wave win on the road.

Yet they insisted children don't get Covid, then later children don't transmit it. All to keep schools open so we would stay at work. Screw teachers', parents', and school staff's health. Not to mention constant reinfection for our children.

Yikes. That does sound bad. And then I would imagine it would discourage local outlets from covering women's sports regularly if even the big guys can't get it right. It sets a bad example at the top that likely trickles down.

Migration is a human right. The families at the border are seeking safety as any of us would.

It’s clear that our policies are designed to fill for-profit detention centers. It’s shameful.

Time to nip this vigilante George Zimmerman nonsense in the bud before any more tough guys decide to play hero (aka murderer). It's "stand your ground" without the guns.

It reminds me of how when Christine Blasey Ford testified against Kavanaugh the response was essentially, "we believe you; we just don't care."

This resonates as we see disabled and immunocompromised folks expected to just stay home, give up living. As if we don’t all know someone in this group now. Covid makes people immunocompromised.

So ridiculous. I teach ESL to adults and we discuss pronouns all the time. Both as a grammar form and as terms of address. I ask students their pronouns in a survey when the class begins.

Hard not to laugh at how misguided this is, but I know it’s dangerous. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

Everywhere he goes it should be these types of questions. He can be in the spotlight and constantly be asked, or he can fade to obscurity. Those should be the two options.

The sombrero felt okay while they were playing in Mexico, perhaps a nod to our shared culture in the borderlands. But now it's feeling like a "lucky" object taken from Mexico for baseball superstition, which feels appropriative to me.

I hope you're right. I guess part of me celebrates the girls thriving on a team of mostly boys and relishes the boys losing to girls moments as a learning experience for boys later in life. But more opportunities and choices are a good thing.

Wholeheartedly agree. There always has to be some "cat fight" narrative when two women are involved (like in politics), but glad people were tuning in, I guess.

It bugs me that the media still assume there is only one tournament and people only care about men’s basketball. Still.

Women will never get to just be basketball players either. They’ll forever be “women’s basketball players.”

Yes! I also recommend checking to see if you have a local "Buy Nothing" group. It's so nice to know that your stuff will get a second life. (Unless you're wanting to make money, then of course a yard sale is the way to go.)
