I so agree with you. But my boyfriend says they do nothing for him (esthetically). I like music but could do fine without it. Diversity!

Bev, my dear, we are both smart and lucky enough to know plants well enough to remember the names and appearances of both Clematis and Columbine. So many people have no idea. I'm grateful we got to chat here about them!

Bev, I agree it would be a gorgeous clematis, but it is actually upside down dwarfed color different columbine! All the rest of the multitude of columbine in the yard is shaped differently, all purple, and traditional hanging down

It is scary to see. I feared that the coconut husk would be grabbed by the spikes and the person's hand would be shredded. Big bowl underneath to catch the falling coconut bits. Reminds me of the machetes that Street vendors use to chop coconuts for tourists in Africa. Scary!

I know what you mean. Trying to hide from yourself and your moral core is extreme cognitive dissonance. That's why I'm an entrepreneur. I can't stand to have others decide what is right for me. It's painful if I try to compromise on vital issues. (Those are few but important to me.)

I disagree with the insult to President Biden, but I agree attacking Iran was a calculated move to escalate and misdirect. Hamas began this spiral of horror entirely intentionally. It looks like Hamas and Israel's current authoritarian leader are working together.

I'm looking for the best in people. Even when they make mistakes. But yes, being safe at the same time. Sometimes people are desperate in various ways and make poor judgments, sometimes not knowing any better.

Since reality shows have very little to do with reality, they don't show anything real. People live up to what you expect of them or pay them to do. But one facet of their character is not the whole person anyway.

Thank you Linda. I love the wisdom in your post. In my case, I've been blessed to not feel that folks confuse me with being dumb on account of my large chest size, but I bet it's a real thing.

Yup. I don't buy music. Except one time my family was watching some contestant on one of those singing shows and had me buy a song of his during a competition. I think that might have been through iTunes but I otherwise have not used that app and it is deleted from my iPad.
