So because it came up elsewhere and it's on my mind this morning, I want to talk about the time I was in a mental health facility for a 72 hour hold back in 2018. Because it was awful, and because I hope that someday no one will have to go through what I did.

So tl;dr some dude called someone else's character a twink, and when the creator of that character was very confused and was like "no, they aren't?" it turned into a fight. I tried to diffuse the situation to no avail, and now someone's had to be banned from parts of the server *sighs*

There's still a ton of work to be done, but my house mate is streaming so I can't be going through the living room to move stuff around. Gonna settle in and do my dailies on FFXIV while she's at that, and then continue when she's done until I gotta work tonight.

Also we're in that weird temp space where if I put on pants and a longer sleeved shirt I'm too hot, but sans those I'm too cold so I'm just flipping between them every hour or two until things even out ):

Now that I've gone shopping and had breakfast and coffee time to get to work. Need to write up a session review of last week's insanity, move stuff into the basement or into storage to get that big shelf out of my room, and vacuum later today as well and get the new litter box set up.

Had a bit of sad as getting necessary things didn't leave me money for snacks. Then the store did the thing of like "if you apply for our in-store credit card you get $20 off just for applying" so I did and then used that $20 saved to get snacks at another store XD

Why is it that on days I'm sick/not feeling well people will not leave me alone and then get frustrated with my slow replies, but on days I'm perfectly fine it's dead quiet. Can't even get my bestie to talk to me when I messaged them first and we're playing the same game rn :/

My mother verbally/mentally/emotionally abused dad to the point he had to leave when I was 8, and then turned it on me. And then she wondered why I was so distant from her in my adult life, and why when she disowned me after I was in a mental institution I wasn't begging to get back into her life :/

It's :: insert sarcasm :: amazing how parents treat their children and then turn around and expect their children to shower them with unconditional love. As parents, you set the example. If your child isn't loving maybe they're acting in kind.

I'm so blessed with my Monday night D&D group. One person changed their name and everyone was like aight cool. They're asking for nonbinary pronouns, everyone's instantly accepting. Bless the dorks, I love them so much.

Power went out about 5:30 last night for no perceptible reason. I reported the outage and was told it'd be back by 11. It was back by 8:30, but then we had no wifi until at least when I finally went to bed around midnight. Thankfully it's back, but gods I missed so much :/
