I'm disappointed about how she handled herself. She actually acted as if a Black man who already set up one company didn't have the wit to have lawyers and SMEs review the TOS for a new venture and needed her to save him. And then the tone policing. Did she ever do that with Dorsey?

🔔Here is an example of someone testing our policies. They purposely engaged in disruptive behavior in hopes of being suspended so that they could go to Twitter and claim they were suspended because of the spout. The content is acceptable, but we removed the account for disruptive behavior.

For what it's worth, 50% of what I write has adult content but even I don't want it here. There are other platforms that embrace it, which I avoid like the plague, most of which have devolved into chaos.

I spouted something earlier that was inarticulate, and I should've added more context. Our policies were written to protect everyone here, especially women from sexual harassment. I had hoped a victim of sexual harassment wouldn't lie about our policies to fit a personal agenda that hurts everyone.

No, but @courtneymilan is more than welcome to start a social media platform and write the terms of service and policies however she likes. But the policy isn't changing, nor is it being rewritten. Spoutible will not please everyone, but thankfully there are other options for those who aren't happy.

Interesting to see some folks more upset about porn not being allowed on Spoutible than they are about books by Black, Latino, and Indigenous authors not being allowed in schools, but that's none of my business. #IStandWithBouzy

We are not props. Make your argument without using black women to try to make your point. There are no victims here. Sex workers are allowed on the platform. Pornography is not. @cbouzy explained why. This is only an issue because some of y'all don't want to respect that decision.

I know everyone is eager for us to release Android and iOS apps, and they are coming. Just remember Spoutible is only 18 days old, and we have to make sure the platform is stable before adding significantly more users.

What? @cbouzy advertised Spoutible on Twitter on an unprotected account. Anyone who wanted to sign up for the first wave was welcome to. He talked constantly about policies and rules. Polls were open to everyone on Twitter. The policies were set before first wavers could create a profile.
