What is self image?
So put simply, self image is how we see ourselves.. our intelligence, skills, appearance. But also how we think other people see all those things in us.

Let's use Roxxy as an example:
Believe it or not I actually have a pretty negative self image..
I don't actually think I'm overly attractive or smart or funny.. or anything really. I think everyone fixates on the "not feminine" aspects of my body just as much as I do.

-Pre transition I would often be "mistaken" for a girl.. to which my mom would say "I don't get why people think that, you'd be a hideous girl" like that's an ok thing to say to your child, repeatedly, for years.

Why do I act slutty and post the pics that I do if I have a terrible self image?
In a way, it's over compensation.
But more importantly, it gets me positive attention and compliments. Which really help me in trying to crack through all the perceptions and distortions I've built up over my life.
