Context part 2 of 2:
The other thing is, it isn’t so much that Judge Merchan must be measured and take his time—that’s all well and good—I too am in favor of care, context and deliberation. It is that with 99.9 percent of the world Merchan would have already sent a multi x gag order violator to JAIL

Today, some kid at my kid's school was a complete asshole to my kid's Jewish friend. Accusing her of being wrong for not reading the (Christian) Bible, saying she didn't care about her religion. My kid quoted her crying friend, "They told me something like this might happen, would probably happen."

This is a remarkably bad bit of analysis.

To make Trump look like RMoney would be to normalize him. No one in the Biden camp would be that foolish.

Yet again, the MSM treats Trump like a normal candidate instead of a fascist thug seeking to destroy our democracy.

He was once a refreshingly raw storyteller & a master of rapid-fire dialogue. Decades ago, I saw an unforgettable production of Oleanna, one of his plays. Remembering that play today, I am realizing this guy's always had some sh!tty views. He's just leaning extra hard into them now.

It’s important to be sure all the new #posties know the word cloud is an option, that you can turn off.

I kinda recommend that you turn it off. Just me, I know.

So you, dare I say WE, are trying to show appreciation for one of our own by attempting the VaginaKyle word cloud challenge. I'm not sure that putting VaginaKyle in the word cloud would be a very positive step towards making friends with all the new post users. I'm just saying, VaginaKyle, Really???

I’m no lawyer, but I think the counter to that is the jury needs a unanimous verdict on just ONE of the counts, not all of them.

And when there’s a miscreant in the jury, they often come to a compromise to be innocent on half of the counts and guilty on the other half.

Advantage prosecution.

No.

Race matters. It is a power dynamic that often plays a role in how we interact with each other, how people feel entitled to treat each other, and how criminal suspects are treated. This is not a colorblind society. That it was murder is a simultaneous truth, not a contradictory one.

If you can be so easily alienated because you choose to be offended by a Black person's accurate critique of historical events, you were never an ally to begin with. Center yourself on that.

One of the saddest things about getting old is there very few left to share it. Each year goes by with fewer cards until there are none. I bought a little square of cake yesterday so I could celebrate today by myself again.

This is an archaic system. The EC was established in the Constitution. To amend the Constitution you need 2/3rds of the vote in both Houses of Congress and then the radification of 34 of the states. Republicans will not approve the measure because currently it benefits them. Jealous of your system

1. Wow did she make the right call not dating him.

2. Her safety is no less at issue if she doesn't date him, so it's clear it was never about that, but about protecting what he thought might be his possession.
