This made me feel better. I’m 57 and in the last decade I have had at least 4-5 20+ year relationships end. I obviously keep friendships long term- so it’s been upsetting. But every one of the relationships ended because I stopped accommodating intermittent cruelty. Not loudly, but clearly…

There is certainly grieving of the changed relationships. People I no longer keep track of because it was too stressful to see what they said or did and grieving the people who have changed so much because of the damaging echo chamber they ended up in. It continues and is sad.

Slow and steady works great! I’m knitting a cardigan, mostly while watching news with my mom every weeknight. It’s amazing how much it has grown since January.

this is the first time since November when I stopped producing significant content for Twitter that I haven't been able to fill a workshop.
This of course, worries me - as my "reach" (meaning a large online network of established trust in relationships) has deteriorated significantly

Exactly. Twitter logged me out. I had multiple working tabs but couldn't log back in on my laptop .. sign-in box kept flickering so I couldn't even enter anything.
Accounts on my tabs now show that they're not following me/I'm not following them. Still can't log in.
