I had taken a picture of a tree that had fallen along the borderline of our neighbor’s and our property and just now realized, when I was looking for a photo, how great our #grass is looking this spring. I just have to remember to straighten out that wind spinner.

Sherman is in surgery this morning. Another of the railroad cats, Gladys, is in for what may be an intestinal blockage. She has had no health issues since the railroad tracks cat colony was TNR'd 6 years ago.

If you dismiss & look down on "red states" maybe this is an opportunity for you to ask yourself why it's okay to write off all the "blue" voters in these states, who are often working for change locally with the odds overwhelmingly stacked against them by their anti-democratic state legislatures 🤔

Today's my recovery date. It marks the last time I walked away from a physically abusive relationship in 1992 in order to save myself. It wasn't easy. There were, of course, threats. I also had two stepsons I knew I wouldn't be allowed to see again.

Strange that there were no protestors outside my doctors office when I got a vasectomy.
I didn’t have to navigate any local laws or travel out of state.
There were no religious pressure in or out of the doctor’s, or anti-vasectomy pamphlets handed out, no news coverage, no billboards.

One of the biggest lies is that Dems are bad at messaging. The reality is that there are lots of Dems who are talking about the accomplishments of the Biden admin. The problem is that Dems’ messaging simply isn’t being amplified by the corporate media monopolies like GOP’s lies.

Donna @DonnaKamiLeoMississippi still hasn't expanded Medicaid because the Governor doesn't believe in it. Has one level 1 hospital for adults and one level 1 hospital for pediatrics.
