We went to the Heritage Museum & Gardens in Sandwich today, and were pleasantly surprised at their vintage car exhibit! So many super cool cars, including a surrey with the fringe on top, Gary Cooper's Duesenburg, and a sexy 1960s Corvette.

For years I performed lockdown drills in my classroom, stationing myself between the door & my kids, thinking about how I would keep them safe If. The kids played at rolling their eyes & being snarky (this was 10 yrs ago), but I will never forget the terror in their eyes when my lock failed one day.
