all I can say is how wonderful it is. They're 85% efficient vs. the 45% of gas or electric element ranges, so excess heat isn't nearly as bad. The fine control of heat is the best. Cream based sauces and the like are so much fun because scalding isn't nearly as big of a problem.

The only thing I know with cast iron is that you don't want to blast a cold skillet with max power. Some cooktops are 50A service and have the super-duper power burner. You can crack a skillet with aggressive inductive heating. I always start at medium and go from there. Otherwise...

This is just wrong. If you can't take a stand against Nazis, you have no ethical standing at all. Hate & bigotry should be stamped out, not given a platform in the name of "free speech" (i.e. making a buck). Hope this hurts rather than helps their bottom line, because they deserve a boycott.

A properly seasoned iron skillet is a joy. I have an induction range and the combination is just heaven. The heat control is just perfect and it doesn't take long to warm up.

I haven’t seen it here yet but I’d like to suggest that posting photoshopped images of Trump and Epstein with young girls and/or women is problematic not because it’s unfair to those men but because it fails to consider the women who didn’t ask to have their images used in that way.

In April of 2021, my husband and I went for a hike here. It wouldn’t be notable, except it was just 8 months after his transplant and it was the first time he was able to go out and do something physical. It gave me hope. ❤️
