I can understand this very well. I feel this way quite often with my job. Very large corporation, I am way down the totem pole. Worried all the time that I might be let go for reasons that only make sense to the share holders. Hang in there. It will work out.

My goal each season is to hold out until 11/1. First frost is usually first week of November nowadays (I'm close to the Hudson River). Some years it's more achievable than others. I try to rack up some savings on my utility bill.
