I agree. I try to keep my hands and especially my fingertips away from my eyes, I press elevator buttons with a non dominate knuckle and I try to open doors with my elbows, knees and feet to the degree that I can. I’ve gotten the cold/flu a lot less since doing these changes.

I am right handed. When I eat with a spoon or just a fork, I use my right hand. But when I eat with a fork and a knife, I eat with my left hand. I don’t bother to put the knife down and move the fork from my left to right hand. It seems inefficient and classist.

We were surprised when we first arrived in France that in a lot of places, pizza are served with whole olives with their pits still in them. We were told this is done to show that the olives are organic small batch and not from a large commercial supplier. I like the variety that is available here.

I vote base on what I believe is in the best interest of my people back home who are impacted by the policies of the govt. So while I am no longer a Dem at heart because I’ve seen them as being ineffective the last 40 years, I still mostly vote Dem for my people. But it seems futile in a duopoly.
