There seems to be real-time activity on Twitter to place Spoutible in a bad light because of the "no explicit sex material" policy. I find this incredibly disappointing. Thousands of users enjoy Spoutible without controversy. No one is being harassed on this topic. There's no hate. Stop the noise.

When I no longer could be ok with Facebook, I left. Now that I'm no longer ok with Twitter, I'm in the process of leaving. If you're not ok with Spoutible, you have the option. But it's brand new and this sudden animosity at the ceo is bizarre, imo.

I think Musk's takeover of Twitter was really about scattering pro-democracy activists at home and abroad, not about any actual business proposition to make money. This will backfire. People will find the newer platform(s) that they resonate with the most and their activism will grow even stronger.

I am always glad when I hear people were able to get help for their depression. It isn't always easy. Besides the stigma, it can also be a financial struggle. Communities can lack mental help professionals. Psychologists can lack knowledge on how to help neurodivergent people. Advice can be wrong.

John Fetterman went through a debilitating medical crisis, then was publicly dragged & humiliated daily as he fought to recover. No one should be shocked he needs some help with his mental well-being, nor should anyone begrudge it or belittle him for it. I hope he comes back stronger than ever.
